Unconventional themed dinner on February 27 at 7 p.m. in the Konírna
Another unconventional dinner is coming up, featuring culinary gems from Bologna and the entire Emilia-Romagna region, as well as one of Tuscany's most famous wines, Nobile di Montepulciano.
When you say Emilia-Romagna, most people are clueless. But try saying mortadella, tortellini, prosciutto di Parma, Parmigiano Reggiano, aceto balsamico di Modena, ragù bolognese, piadina, lasagne. That's a different story. All these delicacies, which have made Italy famous around the world, come from here. Emilia-Romagna is one of the most gastronomically diverse regions in Italy, and handmade pasta from Bologna is legendary.
During the evening, you can look forward to a proper Bolognese culinary journey presented by chef Enrico Pezzotti, one of Bologna's best pasta makers Barbara Romano, who will be making small tortellini by hand right in front of you, and salami maker Gianni Negrini, who will be bringing a giant 100-kilogram mortadella.
Emilia-Romagna may be a gastronomic paradise, but you won't find many famous wines here. Lambrusco is fine, but only as a starter, so we reached into neighboring Tuscany and paired the hearty menu with Nobile di Montepulciano from the biodynamic Salcheto winery.
