Like most of our suppliers, the Pedrazzolis are not just producers, but also breeders who control the entire production process from A to Z. They breed pigs themselves in Lombardy, providing them with the best possible living conditions, including extensive outdoor runs and high-quality natural feed free of chemicals and GMOs. The animals are allowed to grow slowly and naturally, without hormones, stimulants, or antibiotics (compared to intensive factory farming, Pedrazzoli pigs grow three times slower!). The animals are not stressed by long journeys to the slaughterhouse, but are slaughtered humanely on the farm, where their meat is also immediately processed and packaged. The result is high-quality products that do not need to be artificially enhanced, have a distinctive taste and contain plenty of nutrients, and are also kind to the environment, animals and people.
