Are you interested in natural wines without embellishments, created purely under the baton of nature? Then you shouldn't miss our tasting of natural wines with winemaker David Vanni from the Gonella micro-winery.
Natural wines are not just ordinary wines, they are the true essence of the vine and the purest expression of nature. Natural wines are wild, untamed, full of unexpected flavors that are worth exploring. Giulia Gonella and her husband David cultivate native varieties such as Arneis, Barbera, Bonarda, and Nebbiolo on 4.5 hectares of vineyards in the Asti region of Piedmont. Their production is extremely limited, producing less than 10,000 bottles per year, with some wines producing as few as 500 bottles!
She follows organic farming practices, uses no artificial chemicals, and strives to give back to the soil and plants what they give her.
During the tasting, which Davide will personally guide you through, you will be able to taste four wines from this micro-winery. You can look forward to orange Arneis, pink Bonarda, and red Nebbiolo and Barbera.
