Biancamore
When Daniela Senatore was pregnant with her first child and was looking for a natural remedy to help soothe her irritated skin, she, like generations before her, tried immersing herself in lukewarm water mixed with milk. As a native of Campania, she reached for buffalo milk, which is widely used in the southern Italian region to make mozzarella. The desired relief arrived and inspired Daniela and her brother to create the Biancamore line of sustainable cosmetics.
The basic ingredient of Biancamore cosmetics is fresh, nutritious buffalo milk, which comes from the farm of the Barlotti family, one of the oldest buffalo farms in Campania, whose mozzarella can also be found in our range. The Barlotti family have been raising buffalo for over 100 years sustainably and with respect for animals and people in a clean, uncontaminated area within sight of the ancient temples of Paestum. Immediately after milking, the milk is mixed with other natural local ingredients, such as pomegranate juice (a natural antioxidant rich in punicic acid), extra virgin olive oil (with a nourishing and protective effect) or oats (with a soothing effect), which are not only effective but also gentle on the skin and nature, reducing environmental impact and respecting local traditions.
